Given the trying situation girls and women find themselves in during emergencies, menstruatual management demand becomes high and the need for basic supplies such as pads/cloths to manage periods safely and with dignity becomes difficult for vulnerable flood-affected communities.
As a way to ease access to menstrual hygiene products, CARDO Emergency Team through NCA is currently on the ground Responding to the flood-affected communities, the team is distributing over 400 Hygiene Kits in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
The response comes as a result of the KAP assessment conducted by CARDO in August 2022 and the recent IRNA Assessment findings on the flood-affected communities.
