CARDO joins the global community in celebrating World Humanitarian Day. Established by the United Nations in 2009, World Humanitarian Day is held annually on August 19 of every year to pay tribute to those who dedicate themselves to humanitarian service, and to rally support for people affected by crises around the world.
On this World Humanitarian Day, we honor self-sacrificing aid workers who step up to support others, in their communities and across the globe. The aid workers sacrifice their lives to save others and ease their suffering.
The day is commemorated under the Theme “It_Takes_a_Village”
We are so grateful for the sacrifices and the dedication of the Aid Workers around the globe and we are so proud of our own staff at CARDO South Sudan for the great work they do on daily basis to save lives across the Country.
