Over 30 beneficiaries, benefited from shelter assistance provided by CARDO through UNHCR support in Western Bahr el Ghazal. The shelter component targeted the most vulnerable people and the IDPs.
The shelter component aims to enable the vulnerable households to protect themselves against weather conditions such as rains, coldness, heat, and winds, to allow the beneficiaries to feel safer and protected against thefts, to permit them to regain peace of mind which further facilitates social cohesion and dignified reintegration into communities.
