CARDO through its partner Malteser International have been working in promoting social cohesion among the farmers of Jur River County in Western Bahr el Ghazal State and cattle keepers of Gogrial and Tonj in Warrap State. Today 02/11/2021 CARDO and Malteser International have extended project entitled “Promoting Sustainable Social Cohesion Between Farmers and Cattle Keepers” for another period of four months. (November 2021 to February 2022).
CARDO seeks to strengthen the capacity of community-based peace building structures and promote inter-community peace dialogues, in border areas of Western Bahr el Ghazal and Warrap states to create a conducive environment for women & men, youths, children and the elderly for sustainable local economy, human dignity and overall well-being.
