CARDO in collaboration with the state Ministry of Gender, Child and Social welfare, and state Law enforcement agents conducted awareness raising on the National Laws on GBV, Health Policy, and Sexuality Education in Eastern Bank and Bussere respectively, in Wau Western Bahr el Ghazal state, the event was conducted at Women Girls Save Space centers. The event was made possible with funding from Norwegian Church Aid (NCA).
The awareness aims at enhancing the community’s understanding of the existing national laws on GBV, Health Policy, and Sexuality Education to help them to know the possible consequences the government has put in place for anyone who shall violate any of the human rights put in place.
