The Youth Empowerment Activity – YEA Project, funded by USAID, is officially launched today 30/03/2023 in Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal State, the event was attended by USAID Mission Director Kate Crawford, and EDC Chief of Party; Aidan Egan. And it was grace by Hon. Sarah Cleto Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State. The Youth Empowerment Activity Project is to be implemented by Anchor organizations in a consortium led by the Education Development Center (EDC), of which CARDO is taking the implementation lead in Western Bahr el Ghazal.
25,000 youth across South Sudan will benefit from the Youth Empowerment Activity project, the will YEA project teaches them (youth) about their capacity to control their lives and change society and install a sense of their value.
